The dilapidated shed

In the quiet streets of Doel, Belgium, I captured the melancholy of abandoned houses with a series of photos. My sketch of a dilapidated shed became a symbol of transience.

In March 2023, the Flemish government decided that Doel should be preserved and revitalized into a livable village.
