This artwork came to life, inspired by the power and beauty of internal combustion engines. The Historical Combustion Engines Foundation in Papendrecht preserves with passion a unique piece of technical heritage in the Netherlands.

As an artist, I reveled in the technical and mechanical details of old internal combustion engines. The beauty of some components is undeniable. They sparked inspiration in me.
