In Echo of Egypt, I draw inspiration from the powerful visual language of ancient Egypt. The Egyptians used art to express order, religion, power, and eternity. Symbols and forms were part of a larger story.
In my work, I detach this visual language from its original function and give it a new meaning. Not as a copy of the past, but as a contemporary interpretation in which ancient forms are brought back to life.
Echo of Egypt is autonomous graphic art in which ancient inspiration comes together with my own visual language and artistic style.
