Mamnaba, strong and powerful, was respected in the community for her determination and courage. One day, Mamnaba faced a complex situation. A woman in the village had committed a serious transgression by committing adultery. While men could sometimes buy their way out of blame, it wasn't that simple for women, as the ancestors would not allow it.

Mamnaba understood the gravity of the situation. She knew that if the woman wasn't cleansed, her future childbirths wouldn't go well. To assist the woman, Mamnaba led a purification ritual using talcum powder, a symbol of renewal and purification. The entire community was involved in this ritual, with drummers providing the rhythmic sound to appease the spirits.

The ritual culminated in a public penance, in which the community showed their empathy and solidarity with the sinful woman. Mamnaba, with her powerful personality and the necklace she always wore, radiated determination as she led the ceremony.
