Ruba Sangoa was an intelligent and wise man, whose knowledge and dedication were deeply respected by the residents of the remote village.

One day, Ruba Sangoa was assigned an important task. A thief had stolen a goat, and according to the village's beliefs, the thief would be struck by lightning if not unmasked. Ruba Sangoa felt called to resolve this matter and let justice prevail.
His first step was to cover a tree with white and red cloths, the colors of bones and blood. These colors symbolized peace and violence, and covering the tree was a sign of respect for the gods and their judgment.

Next, Ruba Sangoa gathered the three suspects around the tree. Flaming stones and thunderstones were laid out before them as symbols of the forces of nature. Next to the stones were pots of holy water and herbs, intended to aid in discovering the truth.

Now, Ruba Sangoa was ready to fully embrace his role as a priest. He placed feathers on his head and in his mouth, and with loud bells, he invoked the gods. The sound of the bells filled the air as Ruba Sangoa carried a heavy burden on his shoulders, both literally and figuratively. This burden symbolized the responsibility he undertook to uncover the truth and bring justice.
