The Middle East has long been a distinctive source of inspiration for European artists throughout history. While browsing a book on Orientalism — filled with artworks rich in exotic and mysterious atmospheres — I felt a strong urge to create a new piece of my own.

In this artwork, I incorporated elements from various Orientalist paintings, including La Sultane by Joseph-Marie Vien. I brought these influences together in an atmospheric, graphic composition featuring gold and silver-like effects. The result has a mysterious quality — something that continues to intrigue.
