Various drawing and painting techniques and photo editing

Once, I stood on a hill in Quito, next to a tall aluminum monument of a Madonna. I remember that we were quite out of breath due to the thin air. Quito is, after all, the highest capital in the world. The hill in the city is called El Panecillo (Spanish: panecillo; a small bread). From there, we had a beautiful view of the city. I could use the photo as a reference in this colorful artwork.
