Both The Goldfinch by Carel Fabritius and The Act of Abjuration (Het Plakkaat van Verlatinghe) hold significant historical importance. I have combined both works in this graphic artwork. The graphic artwork is exhibited, among other places, in the museum shop of the Mauritshuis, on acrylic. The original painting of The Goldfinch is displayed at the Mauritshuis, while The Act of Abjuration can be viewed at the National Archives in The Hague.
