With Google Earth Street View, it felt like I was walking with a camera in hand through Rio de Janeiro. Everywhere, I saw Volkswagen Beetles. It was inspiring and provided plenty of ideas for this digital artwork. You can see the round shapes of a Beetle and of a Brazilian woman without a face, reminiscent of the face blurs on Google Earth. I call her Belisária.
