Miwata

One of the most intriguing rituals Miwata performed was the cleansing of a novice. She knew the purity of body and soul was of great importance. With caring hands and a reassuring smile, she conducted the rituals. First, the novice was cleansed with soap and special herbs to wash away worldly impurities. Then came the moment with the blood of the black dove, and finally, the washing with the white dove, where the initiate's evils would be shed, leaving a state of ritual purity.
