In all the villages, it was time for the grand cleanup, meticulously removing dirt from homes, streets, and shrines. The gathered dirt was neatly placed in a designated area, and Osuhi was ready to commence the cleansing ceremony with an inspiring speech.

With his impressive nose and distinctive brown mustache, he spoke with conviction about the significance of this annual tradition. He explained how the cleaning symbolized leaving behind old burdens and worries, preparing for a fresh start in the new year.

Following the speech, Osuhi took an ivory horn and blew it to announce the next part of the ceremony. Then, talented performers took the stage to humorously and playfully mock the flight of the tyrannical tribal leader and his rule, creating a light and joyful atmosphere.
This colorful tradition marked the beginning of a journey into the new year, with Osuhi playing a respected role as the guardian of community traditions and a source of inspiration for a fresh start.
