Graphic art is a form of visual art in which images are created using printmaking techniques or digital media, such as woodcuts, etchings, lithography, screen printing, and digital designs. It focuses on the interplay of line, color, composition, and form, with emphasis on both expression and visual impact.

Through many years of working as a graphic designer, I have gained extensive experience in visual communication, design principles, and creative techniques. I now apply this experience to my graphic art. My work combines the freedom of fine art with the precision and structure of graphic design. Most of my pieces are prints on professional-quality materials, allowing color, texture, and detail to come through at their best.

My inspiration comes from various sources: the world around me, personal experiences, materials and techniques, and the work of well-known graphic artists, such as:

Albrecht Dürer – detailed woodcuts and engravings from the Renaissance.
Rembrandt van Rijn – expressive etchings with subtle use of light and shadow.
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec – vibrant poster art from fin-de-siècle Paris.
Andy Warhol – colorful pop-art screen prints with a social edge.
M.C. Escher – graphic works featuring optical illusions and mathematical precision.

Studying their work, both in books and in museums, stimulates my creativity and provides new ideas for my own graphic art. As a result, the number of art books in my home has gotten a little out of hand.
